What do I need to do to become an advertiser on Pacific Island Jobs?
All you need to do is register your contact details via the following link and submit. We will then verify your account and send you your login details so you can start advertising.
Why do you advertise Volunteer vacancies for free?
We recognise the social and economic value of volunteering and as such any organisation or community in need of volunteers can advertise on the site free of charge. To recover our adminstration costs, we do charge a fee for advertising paid employment. However these rates are lower than many other similar services because we believe that even the smallest organisation should be able to attract the best candidates.
Why are PIJ advertising rates in British Pounds (£)?
PIJ operates from the United Kingdom. You can use a currency converter such as OANDA.com to convert our rates into your local currency or contact us at info@pacificislandjobs.com for assistance.
How do I pay to advertise my vacancy?
Payments can be made securely online through the site using a credit/debit card. Your payment is processed by a secure on-line payment processing company. If you would like to pay by bank-to-bank transfer or cheque please contact us at advertise@pacificislandjobs.com
When will my vacancy go live on PIJ?
On submission, your vacancy will be reviewed by the PIJ team. We endeavour to send all adverts live within 24 hours of receipt.
How long will my vacancy appear on PIJ?
You can choose the date on which your vacancy will be removed from the site. This closing date should be less than six weeks from the date of submission.
What type of information should I include in my advert?
PACIFIC ISLAND JOBS provides prospective applicants with essential information relating to your vacancy such as the role description, remuneration (if applicable) and application deadline. You may also want to include information on your organisation such as your mission statement. Please direct applicants to your website for more detailed information including 'terms and conditions' and 'application forms'. Remember, PIJ is marketed internationally so if you are recruiting candidates of a specific nationality then please detail this within your advert.
Can I upload documentation to accompany my advert?
Unfortunately we currently do not provide the facility to upload attachments but you can include links to related documents on your site.
Can I advertise Australian based vacancies?
Yes you can. We also advertise New Zealand vacancies. For our full list of countries please visit our Search page.
Can I re-advertise a vacancy I have previously placed on PIJ?
Yes you can. You will receive a 50% reduction on the standard rate for adding a vacancy you have advertised with us in the past.
What if I forget my login email and/or password?
Your login email is the email address you registered with. If you have forgotten which email account you registered with please email info@pacificislandjobs.com. You can request a password reminder by clicking here.
