About the Role
We are ready to progress to the next phase of our exciting journey and are searching for an energetic, professional, passionate sales leader. Working closely with your General Manager, you will develop, lead and inspire your sales team to achieve outstanding B2B sales outcomes.
You possess proven, hands-on sales experience in the Managed Print, MFD and Copier Industry. You will inject a new energy, voice and ethos for modern business development in our markets in PNG. PNG Toner has been around since 2002 been serving Papua New Guinea in one form or another. Comprising of business spanning the printing, copier and office technology and automation industries, our company is firmly focused on the development of our national workforce.
You'll be in the thick of it as you coach, lead and grow a small sales team. With your GM, you will develop sales strategies, forecast sales volumes and plan and direct all sales activities as you build strong relationships with our top 20 customers.
This is a highly visible role where an open, honest and professional collaborative communication style is essential to building successful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Develop your team of sales reps as you grow market share across Retail, Corporate and Mid-Market accounts.
Drive modern multi-level selling, complex sales engagement and account based solutions to deliver outstanding business outcomes for our customers.
Provide a road-map to reduce the number and types of printing devices and supplies for our customers while meeting the needs of our business.
Develop strong collaborative behaviors across our Group brands, selling within our existing customer base, increase conversion, up-sell and cross-sell outcomes.
Drive a predictable business rhythm with strong operational discipline and passion.
Recruit, coach, train and develop Sales Reps.
Put in place strong quarterly planning, sales cadence, methodology, customer-centric selling and drive monthly and quarterly and annual sales outcomes.

What we're looking for:
We're looking to appoint a specialist Head of Sales / Sales Manager from inside the print and document solutions industry with a track record leading teams. Ideally you'll have the following:
Experience selling Kyocera, Ricoh, Duplo, Oki, Brother, Konica Minolta, and other brands...
Experience managing teams of minimum 6 – 8 + sales reps and ready to step up to the next level.
Experience in training, coaching, developing and promoting individuals. Experience in a developing nation will be highly regarded.
As an Agent of Change, you focus on driving change management, transformation, succession planning and fostering a values based culture.
Strong influencing and communication skills, gravitas and track record in A3 devices.
Highly motivated, hands on action orientated self-starter with a high degree of commercial acumen and desire to achieve.
You'll be a polished Sales Manager who engages hands-on with customers proactively with a strategic "consultative" and "trusted-advisor" approach.
