VSO has an exciting new role that has been developed as a result of our new strategy “People First”.  We are seeking a Head of Funding, Asia and Pacific based in Bangkok, to provide strategic funding leadership across Asia and Pacific and to optimize income generation in support of VSO’s development programmes.  Leading a team of funding staff based in Asia, the successful candidate will be responsible for agreed targets, raising VSO’s profile by networking and partnership building in the donor and NGO communities, and by working within VSO’s funding network to ensure good practice, maximize opportunities, and report on progress. You will be a strong leader with funding strategy development experience, and a background in institutional funding and at least one other funding area: corporate; individuals; trusts; foundations coupled with the ability to deliver high performance through working across cultures and leading a professional funding team.
